About Greg and Diane Greg and Diane moved to Arizona from Montana in 2003. Prior to that, Greg worked in construction starting as a laborer, carpenter helper, plumber, electrical designer, mechanical designer and finally a manager of a design build construction company. Greg was licensed as a journeyman plumber in Montana for 25 years and was the qualifying party for the class A engineering licenses that allowed the company to do general construction in Montana, Arizona, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada and Texas. Greg worked for developers doing all the infrastructure for several developments including a development in Paradise Valley Resort where the house prices started at 2.5 million and a development here in Maricopa called Tortosa where the first phase was 1290 homes, and required over 15 miles of roadways, sidewalks, waterlines, electrical and communication lines. Both Greg and Diane believe in "making a better community by helping others" and show it by both volunteering to work as Wish Granters for Make-A-Wish and Greg volunteering as a Reserve Deputy. Both have gone through extensive background checks for their volunteer work both for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, because they work with small children and their families and Greg for his going to the law enforcement academy to become a certified Peace Officer. How It All StartedThe idea for Peace of Mind Property Care came after Greg was asked by neighbors to watch their home while they were gone for two weeks. They had asked Greg for two reasons. One being he was a certified peace officer so they knew he could be trusted, and secondly because they knew Greg had over 35 years experience in construction. The latter was important because they were confident that Greg could fix anything in their home should the unexpected happen. When neighbors moved away and rented their homes, they always asked Greg to watch over and check on things when there were weather problems like wind storms, monsoons and extreme heat. They also asked him to check on the renters make sure that all was well and that there was no damage to their homes. Maricopa Chamber of Commerce
